The ark™ Tamo Pro is the world’s first and only mechanical key safe to achieve the LPS1175 Issue 8 B1 security rating from the Loss Prevention Certification Board, making it the best key safe in its class and offering protection against both criminal and opportunistic attacks.
Tamo Pro is also built to Police Preferred specification by Secured by Design, the official UK Police security initiative that certifies products proven to reduce crime.
Enhanced anti-theft security features
Crafted from Zinc Alloy, the ark™ Tamo Pro includes advanced security enhancements compared to standard key safes. These include a steel internal vault, nitride anti-saw pins for additional resistance against cutting, and coned hinge pins to inhibit drilling.
The world’s most sophisticated key safe coding mechanism
With patented multi-push technology, you can create a memorable code by pressing the same button up to four times, offering over 9.7 million secure code combinations. This unique system sets Tamo mechanical key safes apart, allowing users to choose combinations such as eight-digit dates for improved memorability.
Illuminated buttons and internal vault
The ark™ Tamo Pro provides effortless access day or night. The large buttons are easy to press and illuminated by a patented lighting module for continuous visibility. The inner compartment also includes an LED light and is spacious enough to store access cards, key fobs, and up to six keys, ensuring clear visibility even in low-light conditions.

Installing the ark Tamo Pro
Tamo Pro comes with both standard screws and rendered-wall screws.
- Standard screws offer a security rating of A10 when installed on brick, stone, and concrete.
- Rendered-wall screws offer a security rating of B1 and allow installation on brick, stone, concrete, and rendered surfaces.
If you are installing your Tamo Pro onto brick, stone, or concrete using masonry screws:
You will need a T30 Torx head screwdriver and a 5 mm masonry drill bit. If you do not already have these tools, they can be easily sourced from general hardware suppliers.
If you are installing your Tamo Pro onto rendered walls, or want the higher security standard:
You will need a T30 Torx head screwdriver and two drill bits: 4 mm and 8 mm. These are commonly available tools that can be purchased from general hardware retailers if not already in your toolbox.

Standard Security Screws

A set of four XL security screws and wall plugs is provided inside the key safe. These are used when fitting Tamo to rendered walls or when achieving a B1 security rating on the ark Tamo Pro.
